PerSPective unit - Dream buisness
What I was required to do for this project was that I had to design a storefront, logo, and buisness card. Our final draft of the storefront had to be either in a one or two point perspective. One area of design that stands out to me is the street and sidewalk because I think it adds a nice touch. Also, (in my opinion) I did it very nicely and it connects to the vanishing point. One area I would improve would be the side where the trees are. I didn't really know what to do there because it was just an empty space that needed to be filled.
palm Projects
Palm reader: For the palm reader project, our challenge was to create a work of art that represented who we are as a person. To do this, we traced our hands to create a silhouette and then filled it with imagery that showed who we are. For my project, I used a variety of images to represent me. The following images that I used in my project tell about me because:
Two Pencils: represent my hard work in school
Basketball and a net: represents my love for the game of basketball
State championship ring: represents when I got my ring for winning the state championship in baseball
Hopkins varsity court: represents my memories on that court
Jewish star and a pointer: represents my religion, Judaism.
Road: represent my 3 most important things in life. First is family. Second is religion. Third is sports.

pop art painting
We were required to make a piece inspired by a pop artist. My artist that I was inspired by was Peter Blake. He uses almost like grids and draws separate things with popular culture drawings. I incorporated that in my painting by splitting my canvas in 4 and putting a tyus jones jersey in each square. Tyus Jones just recently won the National Championship.
alpha numeric character
In this project, we had to first pick a cartoon that had value and then our teacher put it on top of a one inch grid. After that, we had to create a 2 inch grid to copy that image onto. Getting the image exactly was difficult because not all the lines were exact. I worked my way through this challenge by going box by box and looking at it that way. It made things easier.
